The relationship Arc Light Entertainment is the entertainment systems provider for The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Inner Harbor Baltimore. Working closely with the management, design and construction teams, we have designed six options (three Flat-Panel and three Home Cinema) that utilize state-of-the-art components. Each component is from an internationally respected manufacturer andintegrates seamlessly to provide a whole solution. A whole new view Flat-panel technology has evolved dramatically and recent developments allow even more detailed and vibrant images to be enjoyed in the home. High-definition content through HDTV broadcasts, Blu-ray and HD DVD discs allow the advanced capabilities of the latest flat-panel televisions to truly shine. After considerable research, testing and evaluation, Arc Light Entertainment has selected three 42" flat-panel HDTVs for your consideration: two plasma models and one LCD model. The elegance, simplicity, and convenience of these flat-panel displays have changed the way we watch TV. Gone are the days of obtrusive televisions that dominate the room. While these new displays present new challenges for a system integrator, the knowledge and experience of Arc Light Entertainment make this a seamless transition. Music to your ears The spectacular images of high-definition content from broadcast/cable television and movies are accompanied by the enveloping experience of surround sound. Arc Light Entertainment has designed a simple and elegant solution utilizing a surround sound receiver and a 5.1 speaker system. The left and right speakers flank the display and provide the basis for the front soundstage. A matching center-channel speaker is positioned below the display and reproduces the dialogue soundtrack. The left and right surround speakers recreate the effects that complete the acoustical environment of the scene. Supplementing these five speakers is an active subwoofer designed and dedicated to reproducing the deep bass, the foundation for the soundtrack. |
